Be sure to untie your tie when not in use.
Do not pull your tie when untying to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
Do not iron or press your tie unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature. Iron the tie under a thin sheet of cloth or clean white paper to avoid iron lines/markings on the tie.
Heavily creased ties should be hung for a few hours before you roll up and store away.
Do not wash or soak your tie if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a tie stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available tie cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
Should your tie need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
