Be sure to untie your self-tie cravat when not in use.
Do not pull your self-tie cravat when untying to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
Do not iron or press your self-tie or pre-tied cravat unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature. Iron the cravat under a thin sheet of cloth or clean white paper to avoid iron lines/markings on it.
Heavily creased cravat should be hung for a few hours before you roll up and store away.
Do not wash or soak your cravat if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a cravat stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available cravat cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
Should your cravat need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
