  • Do not iron or press your waistcoat unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature. Iron the waistcoat under a thin sheet of cloth or clean white paper to avoid iron lines/markings on the waistcoat.

  • Do not wash or soak your waistcoat if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a waistcoat stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available waistcoat cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.

  • Should your waistcoat need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
