  • Be sure to untie your self-tie cravat when not in use.
  • Do not pull your self-tie cravat when untying to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
  • Do not iron or press your self-tie or pre-tied cravat unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature. Iron the cravat under a thin sheet of cloth or clean white paper to avoid iron lines/markings on it.
  • Heavily creased cravat should be hung for a few hours before you roll up and store away.
  • Do not wash or soak your cravat if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a cravat stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available cravat cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
  • Should your cravat need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
