Be sure to untie your self-tie bow tie when not in use.
Do not pull your self-tie bow tie when untying to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
Do not iron or press your self-tie bow tie unless it’s very necessary. Do not wash or soak your bow tie if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a tie stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available bow tie cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
Should your bow tie need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
