Do not pull your handkerchief to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
Do not iron or press your handkerchief unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature. Used thin sheet of cloth or clean white paper to avoid iron lines/markings on the handkercheif.
Heavily creased hankerchief should be hung for a few hours before you store away.
Do not wash or soak your handkerchief if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a handkerchief stain remover. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
Should your hankercheif need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
