  • Be sure to untie your self-tie bow tie when not in use.
  • Do not pull your self-tie bow tie when untying to avoid overstretching or causing it to snag.
  • Do not iron or press your self-tie bow tie unless it’s very necessary. Should you need to iron it, make sure that the iron is on the right setting “Silk”; if this setting is not provided, make sure that the iron is set to a very low temperature.   • Do not wash or soak your bow tie if stained. Dab with a damp cloth, rub on the stain gently in a circular motion. If heavily stained, use a tie stain remover or ask the nearest laundry shop for available bow tie cleaning methods that they have. Never use bleach or laundry detergent.
  • Should your bow tie need cleaning, have it dry cleaned.
