Men's Bowties

Making a fashion statement is considered to be significant by individuals around the world. It naturally became a vent or other way of expressing a person's feeling and/or thought worth with the use of clothes he/she wears out in the public. Some puts on shabby-looking but chic apparels for gimmicks and night-outs. While some incorporate high-fashion with casual accessories for a more relaxed and convenient fashion sense.

And with the popularity of bow ties rising again as an important accessory in fashion, it is just but normal to want to know a little history about it. Bow ties are naturally known as men's bowties or neckties. Although women can also wear one, it's the members of the male population most likely to wear one for important occasions and events.

Men's bowties came from our Croatian ancestors during the war of Prussian. It was in the 17th century that Croatian mercenaries started wearing a long piece of cloth around their neck. Back then, it served as an additional armor against war enemies. And with that, the evolution of neckties began.

Bowties, generally fall under the category of neckties, it's just that men's bow ties are worn for special or non-special occasions. So that's the story behind the infamous neckties that modern-day people love to wear for work or for a simple gathering.
